The 2 Bus Lane/CCTV camera’s originally planned to go on The Harrow Road have been suspended for now.

There was some local opposition to the idea of 2 camera’s situated very close together in a conservation area.
It is also under review, as these proposed camera’s where funded from tfl, as part of the plan to keep the roads around the Congestion Charge flowing. The Western Congestion Charge is now under the review of the new Mayor of London, and there is a planned local consultation.

Quite how this will go is anyone’s guess, but seeing as they are only consulting with people INSIDE the western extension i don’t suppose many will even bother to take part in the consultation. Now had the consultation been done properly, ie consult everybody who is affected by it, then i think you can draw your own conclusions as to what the result would be. at a guess - very unpopular.
